HOW THIS DRINK IS MADE AND WHAT EFFECTS IT HAS

If you are passionate about hemp and its derivatives, you have probably heard of a liquor called “Canapito”. Yes, that’s right: a cannabis liquor. Are you curious about hemp liquor and want to know how to make it at home?

In the next few lines, we will give you two recipes for making your own hemp liqueur and talk about its effects on the body.

The hemp liquor recipe

When we talk about hemp liquor, we mean a product in which this plant – with its beneficial parts – plays the main role. What do you need to make it at home? Here is the list of ingredients for about 2 liters of the final product:

1 liter of pure drinking alcohol;

1 liter of water;

1/2 kilo of brown sugar;

300 grams of fresh hemp leaves;

3 grams of cannabis inflorescences;

2 sticks of licorice;

Ginger powder, coriander seeds and cumin to taste.

The hemp liqueur recipe

Before we tell you how to prepare it, you should know that fresh hemp leaves have a very strong taste that can be unpleasant to the palate. Therefore, it is advisable to dry them in a dark and dry place for about 10 days (but there is nothing wrong with using fresh leaves).

First, soak the leaves, inflorescences, licorice and other aromatic components. Put all the ingredients and the alcohol in a container or glass bottle. Then seal it hermetically and keep it away from light and heat sources for 15 days. After this time, you can strain the macerate into another container using a sieve and a cotton or, better still, linen cloth.

Now you can move on to the last step, which is to prepare the syrup. You have to dissolve the sugar in the water, so have a lot of patience because you have to stir constantly and make sure that the mixture does not boil. Once you have completed this process and let the syrup cool, you only have to combine the two components to obtain your hemp liquor.

Hemp liquor or hemp bitters: how to combine the properties of cannabis with your favorite drink

De gustibus non est disputandum” is a famous Latin saying. And it is absolutely true that tastes can vary from person to person. And even if you are a marijuana lover, you may not like the taste of a liquor like the one whose recipe we described in the previous paragraph. So if you want to customize a liquor or bitters that you usually drink with cannabis, you can do so without worrying.

Here’s what you need:

a kettle

a glass bottle with a stopper;

a food thermometer;

250 ml of your favorite liquor;

2 g of hemp inflorescence;

some food gauze.

To be clear, the doses of liquor and inflorescences are indicative and if you wish, you can make a larger amount by proportioning them. Do you have everything you need? Good. Let’s get started! First, cut the hemp inflorescences into small pieces and wrap them with food gauze to create a kind of wrap. Then turn on the kettle and pour in the liqueur. Place the gauze with the inflorescences in the kettle and let it brew for about 2 hours. During this time, monitor the temperature with a thermometer and make sure that it does not rise above 60 °C.

Once the infusion is complete, remove the packaging and pour the liqueur into a bottle, close it and store it in a cool place protected from light and heat. Easy, right? Now you can drink a shot of homemade hemp liqueur whenever you feel like it.

The effects of hemp liquor: everything you need to know

So far we have seen two different recipes: one for a hemp liquor and one for a hemp liquor. But what happens when you drink a cannabis liquor? Well, we assume that alcohol enhances the effects of the active ingredients of cannabis, so it is advisable to adjust the amount of alcohol consumed to your own tolerance level.

Of course, the effects also depend on the type of cannabis used for the tap or infusion. With light cannabis, a widespread feeling of relaxation is achieved. CBD, the non-psychotropic active ingredient in hemp, also has antispasmodic, sleep-inducing and digestive effects, making a shot of cannabis or cannabis-infused liquor perfect for dinner. However, since the combination of alcohol and marijuana enhances the effects of both, it is advisable not to overdo consumption, even if legal hemp is used to make the liquor.

The effects of hemp liquor

Hemp liquor, which is made from the herb with a high THC content (psychotropic substance), is something you should definitely avoid. Firstly, because it is illegal. In addition, it can cause hallucinations, nausea and a false perception of reality, among other things. All this, together with the alcohol, could become an unpleasant experience.

So if you like the taste of marijuana or want to combine its non-psychotropic properties with your favorite liquor, you can do so with CBD weed.
